Our story...
Reddere Awards was founded with one clear mission: to give back by recognising those who do the same.
Named after the Latin word reddere, meaning “to give back”, our organisation exists to shine a light on the people, businesses, young leaders and quiet heroes across the UK who go the extra mile for others. We honour excellence, impact, and service across all sectors, with an accessible nomination process and packages that help awardees showcase their achievement with pride.
Our story begins with our founder, Daniel Ruscoe, a multi-award-winning healthcare leader, entrepreneur, and lifelong volunteer. From his early teenage years, he devoted himself to service — as a cadet, a charity fundraiser, a police community volunteer, and later as a paramedic and executive leader. Along the way, he was the proud recipient of multiple local and national awards, from the Young Citizen Award to invitations to Buckingham Palace and in more recent years with his business success, Inspiration of the Year and Family Supporter of the Year. These recognitions weren’t just accolades — they were turning points on his success journey.
“Recognition gave me focus. It lifted my confidence, helped me believe in my potential, and opened doors that shaped my future.”
It’s these experience and opportunities supported the empowerment that comes from being seen and valued. As a young volunteers and the life skills and opportunities in order to win awards, he recognises how the youth of today along with businesses and people in our community should be equally recognised for their achievements. Having realised the impact these awards played in his career, it inspired him to create Reddere Awards, recognising those who give back and have a positive impact on our society.
Through Reddere Awards and our affiliated ceremonial society, The Order of Reddere, we’re building a movement that says: your contribution matters.
"Whether you're a young person pushing yourself to achieve new things, a dedicated volunteer, a community-focused business, or someone quietly doing good work — you deserve to be recognised!" - Daniel

Daniel Ruscoe GCOR
Founder & CEO
Grand Prior of the Order
Daniel is the founder of Reddere Awards and serves as the Grand Chancellor of the Order of Reddere. A decorated healthcare executive, accomplished entrepreneur, charity CEO and lifelong advocate for civic service, Daniel’s career spans leadership in the public, private and charity sector, community volunteering, and business innovation.
Daniel’s early journey was shaped by voluntary service, which led to multiple national honours in youth and public service. But his passion for growth extended far beyond. As a multi-award-winning business founder, he launched and scaled ventures including the acclaimed Kitchtool brand, earning recognition for innovation, product excellence, and entrepreneurial impact.
Awards have played a pivotal role in elevating his brands; opening new doors, forging strategic partnerships, and building trust with customers and investors alike. With this understanding, Daniel established Reddere Awards to help others experience the same. His goal is to create opportunities for individuals, youth, and businesses to gain the visibility, pride, and momentum that can propel them to the next stage of their journey.
